<Apex> is a new hardcore progression guild. We have spent the last 4 weeks planning and we're finally ready to start recruiting some of the the best players on this server. We have very high standards and we believe that maintaining the integrity of those standards will lead to success. We would rather not raid at all than raid below those standards.

Goals

Our short term goals are simple: Clear all hard modes in Ulduar 10. Once we have accomplished that goal we will expand into 25 man raiding and do the same thing there. Our leadership has been in charge of 25 man raids before and we will do it again.

Schedule

Our raid schedule is Monday - Wednesday, 5:30 - 10:30 server time. Most of us do not want to spend our entire week raiding, so for this reason we are emphasizing quality over quantity in terms of time. If you're in raid, you're focused on task and killing bosses. We expect 85% attendance for these 3 days. If you can not guarantee this level of commitment, Apex is not for you.

Performance

As a member of Apex, you will be expected to perform to your utmost potential. If you cannot do this, you will be replaced with someone who can. This is fundamental to our philosophy and we will not make exceptions. None of us want to carry other people, and we do not want to recruit anyone that feels differently.

Attitude

That said, you will not find nerd rage or yelling raid leaders in Apex. We believe in mutual understanding of expectations between the guild and its members, and we expect this to lead to excellent performance. Pushing hard modes will be hard. A positive attitude in the face of repeated wipes is required if we are to succeed.

Important Points

- We use a decaying DKP system to track effort and distribute loot. This is explained in detail on our website.
- Ranks within the guild have very important meanings and benefits associated with them. Performance is rewarded.
- We offer full standby DKP to members that are unable to enter a full raid, but are available.
- We will obsess over stats and strats. Each member of Apex will be encouraged to analyse our performance and suggest improvements.
