There has been quite a few guilds gunning for these drakes..
But lets recap. In less than 2 raid weeks (5 days raiding, actually) we've downed all the Ulduar hardmodes and made a dent in ol' Algy. However, sorry to everyone on the VeCo, but we failed and he killed the world. Point is, the goals have been met, and no amount of drunkards, people who disconnect, or Harry Potter fans will stop us. I'm sure in the next week or so we'll begin our call for people to fill the 25man group.

Grats to Sequel, good luck in your 25mans. Good luck to our Alliance brothas who are pushing for it as well.

Wow. So we started the raid with a sketchy comp. Disconnections and exhausted players tried to get us down, but we persevered and got FL+4, XT Heartbreaker, Kologarn and Auriaya Crazy Cat Lady down in great time. Finally, we started Mimiron's Firefighter hardmode.

I think most of the raid agreed from the outset that this was one of the most interesting and genuinely "fun" fights in Ulduar and we were all excited to get to work on it. After no more than an hour and a half of attempts (including one almost-sure-kill, spoiled by a disconnect), the stars aligned and we downed him with 45 seconds left on enrage! Our hearts were all pounding and vent exploded with cheers as the achievements popped up and most of us realized we were only one hardmode away from our Rusted Proto-drakes <3

After our first week of raiding, Apex faces just 3 more hard fights. Our rusted Proto-drakes are on the delivery truck from the Storm Peaks Aviary as we speak. Yogg-Saron, Mimiron and Algalon are on notice!

Here are the screenshots of our last day of raiding. General Vezax got told in style, and Yogg-Saron got a small taste of whats to come. We also downed Razorscale and Mimiron on 'easy mode', though we did get both achievements from Razorscale this week.

Another night of successful raiding has come and gone. Apex brought the pain to a couple more keepers. Thorim gave us nothing more than a few wipes worth of resistance before bowing to our insane power. Freya, on the other hand, was PMSing pretty hard and we spent about 3 hours wiping on her before she got a headache and just wasn't in the mood anymore. Apex > Freya and Thorim.

Apex knocked it its first 5 hours of raiding last night and it went extremely well! We managed to blast though quite a few hardmodes and side achievements in a relatively short period of time. Good work all around, and here's hoping for more of the same!

Even though the Thorim attempts at the end of the night weren't 100% successful, just typing out the list of hardmodes and achievements we did in a few hours into our first guild raid apparently made Vegatork smile. Then again, so does the thought of Darkwarrior in tight leggings. Weird.
